Copperfield Records has signed distribution agreements to
release the digitally re-mastered Chuck Wagon Gang

1980’s. At present, Select-O-Hits is the distributor
for secular retail and New Day Christian will
handle Christian retail outlets. Sony/RED is

first time this product has been available for online
digital sales. Nine of the seventeen albums are available
at retail with all of the titles available for download
purchase including individual tracks. Other titles will
continue to be released periodically until all titles are
available through retail outlets.
“This catalog represents some of the finest sound recordings
in Chuck Wagon Gang history,” says Ken Biddy, President/CEO,
Copperfield Records. “We are especially excited to have the
two previously unreleased Christmas CDs just in time for the
approaching holiday season.” Additional gospel titles will
be released with plans for a special commemorative CD
celebrating “70 Years Of American Music” released in
the fall of 2006. The commemorative package will include
3-4 previously unreleased tracks as an extra bonus for fans
and collectors. November 25, 2006, celebrates the 70th
anniversary of the original group’s first recording session
in a San Antonio hotel room, beginning the legacy of the
country gospel group. The Gang began their career
performing a daily 15-minute segment on KFYO Radio in
Lubbock, TX before moving on to WBAP Radio in Dallas, TX.
For a short stint, they also performed on KVOO in Tulsa,
OK.
